ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome! I'm Cristy Becker of CL Becker Photography.  I specialize in portrait photography and am based in Burlington, Ontario.

I've always been fascinated by photography, from the first Polaroid camera I got when I was 12 to the many different cameras I've had throughout my life. To me, photography is about celebrating people and creating memories. It's about capturing a look, a moment in time, a way to revisit a period of time that's passed. I want my clients to feel passionate about the images we create in our sessions, and for them to take away a happiness with their experience that they'll recall whenever they look at their photos.  

Prior to launching my photography business in 2012, I worked in the film and television industry for many years and learned so much about how to compose and create images. 

I'm a mom to three kids, including identical twins, who have graciously been my "test subjects" throughout my photography journey. I've been photographing my twins since they were born, and have had the pleasure of working with many twin families over the years. 

I believe in creating a fun, relaxed photo session for my clients, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you!
